“‘Til Death Do Us Part” Who’s Who

CODY ALVORD (Kent Furlongg) has been performing as an actor and musician for over 20 years, portraying roles such as Annie (Daddy Warbucks) and Les Misérables (Javert). More recently, he has been featured in the ShowTime limited series Escape at Dannemora and TruTV’s Impractical Jokers. Cody is currently pursuing a master’s degree in music therapy. He has been away from the stage for too long and relishes the opportunity to play Kent; who is a conniving, manipulative, and selfish Bastard!

TONI ANDERSON-SOMMO (Mae Knott) is pleased to be part of yet another Home Made Theater murder mystery. She has directed and acted in countless productions for local theaters in Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls and the Albany and Schenectady areas, as well as doing voice overs for radio commercials and acting in independent films. Most recently, she played a lead role Mama in Bob Clohessy’s (Blue Bloods, OZ) original stage play Welcome Home Johnny. She wrote and directed her own original play, U R Here, produced by The Charles R. Wood Theater, in 2018, as well. Since retiring from the Hudson Falls School District as an English teacher, Anderson-Sommo has been employed by SUNY Adirondack, where she teaches creative writing, Saratoga Springs Publishing as an editor, and SUNY Cortland as a Student Teacher Advisor. Currently she is working at Granville Middle School as a Special Ed teacher, because she believes beside acting, nothing is as rewarding as teaching, She is eternally grateful for the support of the most patient man on earth, her husband, Phil, and her son, P.J. And a special thanks to the comedic group of characters assembled here tonight, who made rehearsals highly entertaining. Thank you Teresa and Caitlin, for your valiant effort to keep us on track!

KRISTEN ARMSTRONG (Anita Mann) is appearing for the second time at Home Made Theater in this production of ‘Til Death Do Us Part: A Marital Murder Mystery to Die For. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and attending concerts.

SHANNON M. RILEY (Rev. Lotta Prarres) previously appeared in Home Made Theater’s production
of High School Reunion 2024: Burying the Past (Principal Soffus) and is thrilled to return for her
second murder mystery show, ‘Til Death Do Us Part: A Marital Mystery To Die For at The Mansion Inn. While not working as a professional cook and baker, she finds joy in singing with SPAC’s School of the Arts adult choir, Renaissance Faires, table-top and retro video-gaming, and hanging out with her three black cats: Edgar, Gomez, and Elora. She’s also a rabid Minnesota Vikings fan, and staunchly maintains the conviction that her team will make it to the Super Bowl within her lifetime.

TERESA STORTI (Director) holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Southern California and has worked professionally as an actor from Los Angeles to Chicago, Houston & Orlando, where she also served as Director of Development for Civic Theatres of Central Florida before heading north to the Green Mountains of Vermont. Theater Playhouse in neighboring New Hampshire. At Home Made Theater she served on the Board of Directors for six years and directed Moonlight & Magnolias as well as last fall’s High School Reunion 2024 Murder Mystery. Her most recent Home Made Theater acting credits have been Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Sonia) and ‘Night Mother (Thelma). PAT VAUGHN (Ginny Furlongg) is delighted to step into the role of ‘Ginny,’ the groom’s mother, in Home Made Theatre’s current dinner theatre production. After a spirited stint as ‘Rita-Lynn,’ the pill-dispensing high school nurse in Home Made Theater’s Murder Mystery High School Reunion 2024, and diving into the excitement and chaos of the Charles R. Wood’s 24-Hour Theatre Fest, she is relishing every opportunity to collaborate with Home Made Theater. Returning to her theatrical passion after a not-so-brief intermission called life, Pat has greatly enjoyed past roles such as The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor), Blithe Spirit (Ruth), Camino Real (Camille), and her all-time favorite, Dark of the Moon (Barbara Allen). She is thrilled to bring Ginny to life—secrets, drama, and all (and she promises not to hand out any suspicious pills this time… possibly).
