Travel “over the rainbow” with The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition. Home Made Theater’s youngest stars present this beloved classic about Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, who is swept away by a tornado to the magical land of Oz. There, she befriends the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion as they journey to the Emerald City to each ask the Wizard of Oz for help. However, it is not all perfect with the Wicked Witch of the West out for revenge!

Description

An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock’s Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house’s several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined inspector grimly following the case’s twists and turns.

Description

Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Fiddler on the Roof’s universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.
